Tasmanian Land Conservancy: Research and Management – Dr Cath Dickson
Dr Cath Dickson is the Conservation Science & Planning Manager at Tasmanian Land Conservancy (TLC), with a background in natural and threatened species management in South Australia, Victoria and Tasmania since 2004. She completed her PhD on the response of a dominant threatened plant to climate change on Macquarie Island. While interested in all things – nothing gives her more joy than being out in a wetland botanising!
The Tasmanian Land Conservancy was established in 2001 and has grown to be one of the largest private landholders in Tasmania. The TLC has a conservation footprint of over 100,000ha through both its own permanent reserves and by working with private holders to facilitate conservation. Science, community and enduring commitment are at the heart of TLC’s conservation effort, recognising that we achieve more together.
Find out from Cath about how TLC manages its conservation values, works with private landholders and how you can be involved.
