Labillardiere Peninsula – the “short loop”.
Date: Saturday 7th November
Location: Jetty Beach Campround, Old Jetty Road, South Bruny. The start of the walking track is about 1¼ hours’ drive from the ferry terminal at Roberts Point, Bruny Island. From Roberts Point, take road B66 to Alonnah and Lunawanna and road C629 towards Cape Bruny. From Lighthouse Road turn right onto Old Jetty Road toward Jetty Beach Campground.
Time: 9:45 for 10.00am start.
Travel time: Hobart GPO to Kettering Ferry Terminal – about 40 min. Ferry crossing – about 20 mins. Roberts Point Ferry Terminal to Jetty Beach campground – 1h 15 min. Recommended ferries to catch: 7: 50am or 8:30am (latest). Ferry information can be found by visiting Sealink Bruny Island. This walk is within South Bruny National Park, and a valid Parks Pass is required for all vehicles. Carpooling is encouraged.
