About: This walk follows the creek and lower forested slopes above Tolosa Park, exploring one of Glenorchy’s most accessible bushland reserves. The area forms part of the foothills of kunanyi / Mount Wellington and provides an excellent introduction to the diverse habitats of Wellington Park. The track passes through dry eucalypt forest, creek-side vegetation, and regenerating bushland, offering opportunities to observe native plants, fungi, birds, and invertebrates. The nearby trail network also connects to the wider Wellington Park system and the North–South Track. Tolosa Park itself has a long history as part of Glenorchy’s water supply system and remains an important recreational and environmental reserve. More info: https://wellingtonpark.org.au/
