Join us for a fascinating look at how coastal and marine ecosystems can be restored — from seagrass and saltmarsh to Tasmania’s changing shores. She’ll share global success stories, what they mean for local action, and how we can overcome the key barriers holding restoration back. Dr Megan Saunders is an interdisciplinary marine scientist who specializes in marine and coastal ecosystem restoration. She is a Principal Research Scientist in the Sustainable Marine Futures Program at CSIRO Environment based in Hobart. She does research and communication to share evidence of outcomes and examples of success for coastal and marine ecosystem restoration for inspiring people to take individual and collective action.
