Excursion – Sloping Main TLC Reserve

The Route:

• 1 hour 34 minutes from Hobart GPO via Sorell → Dunalley → Koonya →Saltwater River → Sloping Main (select link for directions)
• Meet at gate at 10am. We will meet Cath there and drive out to the white farmhouse (road is fine for 2 wheel drives)

Notes:

• Bring gumboots if wet. We are discussing the restoration plans and implementation of the area.
• Ensure you bring your lunch, water, raincoat, hat, boots and warm clothes
• The aim is to walk to the Saltmarsh outlet and lookout.
• Looking for fungi, and winter orchids. Bring your Eucaflip!
